Googling Helper: Simplify Your Web Searches
Googling Helper is a free Chrome add-on developed by Tenten that aims to enhance your web searching experience. This add-on eliminates the hassle of constantly switching between tabs or opening new ones when clicking on search results. With Googling Helper, you can now preview websites without leaving the current page.
By hovering your mouse over a hyperlink, a preview window appears, allowing you to see the content of the linked page. The preview window also features three scrap buttons in the upper right corner, enabling you to easily save the link, capture images, or extract text.
Googling Helper offers convenient shortcuts for efficient navigation. Use the "w" and "s" keys to move between links in the preview window, and press the spacebar to save a link, "c" to capture an image, or "t" to extract text. However, please note that these shortcuts won't work if you click within the preview window. To ensure proper functionality, click outside the previewer before using the shortcuts.
To fully utilize the scrap functions, such as saving links, capturing images, or extracting text, you need to log in to the respective website through the popup window.
Please be cautious and avoid entering any personal information or performing login actions within the previewer, as it may pose a security risk.
